Role Summary:
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data and supporting decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting processes.
- Provide support to management and other stakeholders with financial analysis and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
