Role Summary:
As an Audiologist at our client’s healthcare facility, you will specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. You will conduct diagnostic tests, provide rehabilitative services, and educate patients and their families on hearing conservation and communication strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions testing.
  • Interpret test results and diagnose hearing and balance disorders, such as sensorineural hearing loss, conductive hearing loss, and vestibular disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, which may include hearing aid fittings, auditory rehabilitation, and balance therapy.
  • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and assistive listening devices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and educators, to coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advances in audiology to ensure evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
  • Valid license to practice audiology in Nigeria.
  • Proven experience working as an Audiologist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of diagnostic audiological testing and treatment modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
