Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Biomedical Engineer (Sales) with a solid technical foundation and hands-on sales experience. The ideal candidate will combine strong biomedical engineering knowledge with proven sales ability to promote, market, and sell cutting-edge biomedical equipment. This role demands both technical expertise and the ability to build lasting client relationships through consultative selling and exceptional support.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and engage new leads through field visits, referrals, and cold calls.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate pricing, terms, and closing contracts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.

Technical Product Support

  • Articulate detailed biomedical product specifications to clients.
  • Recommend the right products based on clinical and technical requirements.
  • Provide first-level support, product installation oversight, and user training.

Client Relationship Management

  • Foster and manage strong relationships with hospitals, labs, and clinics.
  • Offer timely after-sales support, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and technical service team.

Market Insight & Reporting

  • Monitor biomedical industry trends, new products, and competitors.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate qualification (M.Sc., M.Eng.) is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in biomedical or medical equipment sales.
  • Previous fieldwork in clinical or hospital settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical device standards, hospital procurement, and diagnostics equipment.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel within assigned territories.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong accountability and results-driven attitude.
