Role Summary:
As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of loan applicants and assessing the risk associated with lending. You will analyze financial data, conduct risk assessments, and make recommendations to management on loan approvals and terms.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data to assess creditworthiness.
  • Evaluate the financial health and stability of loan applicants and borrowers.
  • Assess the risk associated with lending, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
  • Prepare credit memos and reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Review loan applications and make recommendations to management on loan approvals and terms.
  • Monitor the performance of existing loans and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop loan products and marketing strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in credit analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit analysis or a similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and risk assessment techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
  • Certification in credit analysis or risk management is a plus.
