Role Summary:
As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of loan applicants, analyzing financial data, and making recommendations for loan approvals. You will play a crucial role in managing credit risk and ensuring the quality of the loan portfolio.


  • Evaluate loan applications and assess the creditworthiness of borrowers.
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to determine loan eligibility.
  • Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for loan approvals or denials.
  • Monitor loan portfolios and identify potential credit issues or delinquencies.
  • Collaborate with loan officers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Communicate lending decisions to clients and provide feedback on credit applications.
  • Ensure compliance with lending policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting credit risk.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management review.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a credit analyst or similar role in banking, microfinance, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial principles, credit analysis, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
