Role Summary:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making and strategic planning. You will conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data, market trends, and economic indicators to assess business performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate key findings, trends, and insights to management and stakeholders, and provide recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasting tools to project future financial performance, cash flows, and investment returns, and identify risks and opportunities to mitigate and capitalize on.
  • Conduct variance analysis and performance benchmarking to compare actual results against budgeted targets, forecasts, and industry benchmarks, and identify areas of improvement and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and strategic plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and objectives with business objectives and priorities.
  • Evaluate investment proposals and business cases, conduct due diligence, and perform financial feasibility studies to assess investment risks and returns, and provide recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track key financial metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators, and provide regular updates and insights to management and stakeholders on financial performance, trends, and risks.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial analysis and reporting, and provide insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or related roles, preferably in a multinational company or financial institution.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, interpret financial statements, and perform financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts and analysis clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to produce high-quality financial reports, analysis, and presentations within tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment principles, and regulatory requirements, and familiarity with industry best practices and standards.
