Role Summary:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and network equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and patches.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Document support tickets and resolutions in the help desk system.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
