Role Summary:
As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and facilitating the disbursement of microloans to eligible borrowers. You will play a key role in supporting financial inclusion and empowerment initiatives.


  • Evaluate loan applications and conduct thorough credit assessments.
  • Analyze financial documents, credit reports, and collateral to determine loan eligibility.
  • Assess borrowers’ financial stability, repayment capacity, and credit risk.
  • Conduct background checks and verify information provided by loan applicants.
  • Prepare loan proposals and recommendations for approval by management.
  • Facilitate loan disbursements and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
  • Monitor loan performance and collections activities to minimize default risk.
  • Provide financial education and guidance to borrowers on loan management and financial planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve loan processing efficiency and customer service.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for lending operations.
