Role Summary:
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics operations to support oil and gas projects. You will oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.


  • Coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to support oil and gas projects.
  • Plan and schedule shipments of materials and equipment to project sites, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization.
  • Manage logistics vendors and service providers, including freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities using inventory management systems and software.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to forecast logistics requirements and plan accordingly.
  • Implement and enforce safety and security protocols for transportation and warehousing activities.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and emerging technologies in logistics and supply chain management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and logistics management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
