Role Summary:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation and reliability of equipment and facilities. You will work closely with maintenance teams and vendors to coordinate resources and execute maintenance plans according to schedule and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and plans for equipment and facilities based on maintenance requirements, priorities, and available resources.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors to schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections according to established maintenance plans and priorities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance activities to identify and address issues that may affect equipment reliability and availability.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance history, including work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities, to support asset management and reliability efforts.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and engineers to develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess equipment condition, identify maintenance needs, and prioritize maintenance activities based on risk and criticality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams, including troubleshooting equipment problems, interpreting technical manuals, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to equipment maintenance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning or a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles, practices, and tools, including CMMS software.
  • Experience in coordinating maintenance activities and resources in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.
