Role Summary:

The Medical Officer at Uriel and Chris Hospital will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients. They will work under the supervision of senior medical staff and be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing various medical conditions. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients.
  • Diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Performing minor surgical procedures as required.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
  • Providing appropriate follow-up care and monitoring patients’ progress.
  • Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive healthcare measures.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhering to all medical ethics, legal, and regulatory requirements, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  • Participating in continuing medical education and professional development activities to stay abreast of current medical practices and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice medicine
  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge across a wide range of medical specialties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Working Conditions:


Monday to Friday- 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Alternate weekends)
