Role Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working through therapeutic activities and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Teach patients adaptive techniques and strategies to perform activities of daily living independently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment goals.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about the benefits of occupational therapy and home exercises.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
