Role Summary:
As a Pharmacist at you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug information to healthcare professionals and patients, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring that prescriptions are filled correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Provide drug information and counseling to patients regarding medication use, dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to review medication orders, resolve medication-related problems, and optimize patient therapy.
  • Monitor medication inventory levels, order medications and supplies as needed, and maintain proper storage conditions.
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and review patient medication profiles to identify and prevent medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice, including medication safety protocols and recordkeeping requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in Nigeria.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and medication therapy management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and computerized prescription systems.
