Job Summary:
We seek a competent and detail-oriented Radiographer with expertise in Ultrasound Sonography, CT Scan, MRI, and C-Arm imaging to join our progressive healthcare team in Ilupeju, Lagos. The ideal candidate will expertly operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure high-quality imaging results, maintain equipment functionality, and provide compassionate patient care, adhering to Nigerian healthcare standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage advanced imaging equipment including Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and C-Arm to deliver accurate diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients properly for imaging procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
- Perform imaging procedures efficiently, adhering strictly to safety protocols and Nigerian regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate image quality and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Accurately manage patient imaging records using PACS and other relevant hospital information systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures clearly and addressing concerns with empathy.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, technological advances, and engage in continuous professional development.
- Participate in preventive maintenance and assist technical staff with equipment servicing.
- Ensure compliance with all radiological safety standards, infection control, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognized Nigerian institution.
- Current registration and professional certification with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years post-qualification experience with proven skills in Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and C-Arm operations.
- Strong knowledge of PACS and hospital information systems (HIS).
- Deep understanding of Nigerian radiological safety and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
