Role Summary:
As a Radiographer at our client’s healthcare facility, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients for imaging studies, and ensure the production of high-quality images while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, explaining the process and positioning them appropriately for optimal imaging results.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines, computed tomography (CT) scanners, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Adjust imaging parameters to achieve the desired image quality while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Position and immobilize patients to obtain clear and accurate images of the body part being examined.
  • Process and analyze imaging data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of images for interpretation by radiologists or other healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging studies, patient demographics, and procedural details, in the electronic health record system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging studies and assist in patient care decisions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Radiography or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license or certification as a Radiographer.
  • Proven experience working as a Radiographer, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment operation, and radiation safety practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
