Role Summary:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders, providing respiratory support and education to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patients’ response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Valid license or certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Proven experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
