Role Summary:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, minimize costs, and improve efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize procurement, production, and distribution processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and sales projections to plan production schedules and procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure production schedules are aligned with inventory levels and customer demand.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure and track supplier performance.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage a team of supply chain professionals and provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure departmental goals are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, inventory management software, and transportation management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to supply chain operations.
