Role Summary:
As a Surgical Technologist at our client’s healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures. You will prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure a safe and efficient environment for surgical interventions.


  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and available for use.
  • Assist surgical team members, including surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as necessary to maintain a smooth flow of the operation.
  • Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures and adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent surgical site infections.
  • Prepare and position patients for surgery, ensuring proper positioning and draping to optimize surgical exposure.
  • Monitor and document surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and needles to ensure patient safety and prevent retained surgical items.
  • Assist with the transportation and care of surgical specimens for laboratory analysis.
  • Clean and restock operating rooms after surgical procedures, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.


  • Diploma or certificate in Surgical Technology or related field.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Proven experience working as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
